Midsummer Market Reflections

Post-Market Reflections: Healing, and reconnecting with my peeps

So, last saturday, 7-19-25, Nature’s Treasure’s hosted their Cool Witches Midsummer Market. (I had a table there).

It’s been a long time since I paid any atttention to my inner spiritual self and it’s been kinda clamoring for attention for the last decade or so. But, you know… there was REAL LIFE to attend to….

Well,I walked in to find my table and set up, and the first thing I saw was a lovely lady creating a fairy garden with all its accoutrements on her table. Fairy lights reflecting and refracting off of beautiful and lovingly crafted “fairy homes” that were even fit for families of birds! Lush colors, soft, natural corners accentuated some of the most mystical parts of our shared existence, instantly reminding me I’d been separated from half of my nature for far too long. The “mysti-curious” me was home.

The perfume of palo santo, blessing sacred spaces brought comfort and calm as I started to set up my table. I was offering free “Affirmation Tarot” to introduce my services as a Wellness/Wholeness Coach, and meet some people who might need an external perspective on whatever the cards they pulled brought to the surface regarding their needs.

During my first ‘reading’ I was reminded just how powerful simple conversations can be when shared in a space and mindset of safety and presence.

Throughout the day I ran into visitors, each with their own needs and concerns. Some came looking to reconnect with parts of themselves they’d set aside, (as mentioned above, that was something I understood far too well). Some wanted to bounce the idea of returning to former practices, or revisiting life dreams they’d put on a shelf for too long, or intuitive callings they hadn’t acknowledged in years. With all of them, we spoke about integration; their material NEEDS, and how honoring them can and should facilitate the honoring of their inner alignment, and how there’s room in modern life for the mystical and the practical. No matter the specifics of each individual’s needs… these were the common threads running through all the lives I was fortunate enough to meet. Maybe as Prince once said… it’s “A sign of the times.”

So together, we examined the crossroads of each particular situation, and brainstormed strategies on pursuing that ever elusive “Soul-Aligned” path without losing their hard-won stability.

I also had the honor of speaking with someone curious about deep inner work through regression hypnosis. It reminded me how potent this work can be—especially when it touches areas of pain we may not realize is holding us back, and how sacred it is to walk alongside someone on that journey.

Another conversation revolved around creative resistance. Perfectionism as procrastination as it were, and the adoption of bypassing their procrastination through philanthropy. By offering their first couple ‘versions’ as a gift to others, it would serve their need to provide as well as create a method of feedback which would allow them to continue moving forward with their creativity with more clarity and less fear.

What struck me as the common thread through each of these moments was this:
Among most people, there is a hunger for meaning and desire to live a deeper truth the external world is ever working to separate us from.

But, sometimes all we need is a reflection, a reframe, or a reminder that we ARE allowed to live in a way that serves EACH of our aspects, no matter how many we have. And that no one has the right to take any of them away from us or shame us from honoring the whole of who we are.

To everyone who stopped by my table—thank you. You made it magical.

With warmth,
